2 free roundtrip tickets

I need to check on flights for my card and DH's.We both got the postcards a while back stating we had the free flights but don't see anything on my Southwest Acct or Chase acct. Do I call Southwest to check or do I call Chase?

The same thing happened to me..

I called Southwest last week to check on where my free flights were since they weren't showing up in my account, and apparently, Southwest had automatically set up a Rapid Rewards account for me which I didn't know about and that's the account they credited the flights too.

The told me to send an email to RR customer service asking to close the account I opened myself and to make the one that the automatically set up for me, my primary account, and this happened last tuesday. I'm probably going to call again, since we had wanted to use the flights for this summer, but doubt that's going to happen now:sad1:

But I would call Southwest, not chase

Great. Thanks. At least I know where to start!! We don't want to use them until March - so, I have a bit of time.

Yes, sw does set up a rr account for you. Chase will give you the number, then you must call rr to have them attach an email to it so you can then set up a password.
We booked our flights for sept but our choices were limited. There are only certain seats available to use the free flights for. The only flight home that had availabilties was at 830am. Getting a3yo and 1.5yo up by 5am is not going to be fun!

This is what I was worried about...i guess the free flights made it into my account in early April and I could have booked something for August, but now i'm assuming there is nothing left, since it's now the end of May.

I'm going to call Southwest again and try to figure out why they haven't responded to my email. :sad2:

We are having a hell of a time with Chase/Southwest too!!!!! So, I'm really sad that it's not just us. I mean, glad I'm not alone but I'm super frustrated that they're so lame. We're about to cancel as we got this card at the end of February, well, we applied for it then... so far after about 5 different calls we are STILL not able to log in to our account. We never even set up a RR account for ourselves...we let Chase do it and now we can't get in. However, we can see our miles on our credit card statement and we havent' gotten our 20/30,000 credited. Hubby called them today and Southwest says, "That's Chase. Call Chase." So we did and they have no record of us applying under that deal or some other BS like that and they're submitting something that will take a week and a half just to hear what they decided. We're furious. This crap has been going on since march.

I need some advice from those of you who have booked your free tickets already. Is there a way to tell how many seats are available on a particular flight? I can see which flights are available, but the drop down box won't let me enter more than one adult. I don't know if that is a glitch or what, because it seems like if it is there, it should allow you to enter a higher number than one. I will be traveling with my teenaged daughter, and I want to be able to get on the same flight. If necessary, I would be ok with her taking a different flight if they were close to each other timewise, but one of the days we are considering only has ONE flight available. If I book the last seat, that would NOT be good.

Did any of you call customer service to book, or did you all do it online? Is there a fee to book by phone? Thanks.

I booked online and have made several changes via the phone. I booked me online and booked DD and DH via phone. No fee. As you can't see how many free seats there are...When I booked in March there were NO free seats to MCO and had to book via TPA. Now I call and wide open for MCO so I switched. So if youcan't get on the same flight keep trying, seats opened for August

I booked four tickets on the phone. I think that might be the best way for you to go. They were very helpful and could tell me how many seats were available on the flights.

Good luck.

I called and booked for the 5 of us. I had to pay for 1 roundtrip ticket, but was able to get us all on the same flights:thumbsup2
