I just got this in our mail. Vons(a local Southern California supermarket) released their weekly flyer that starts today. Anyways, at the very top on the front page of the ad, Disneyland is offering 2 for 1 passes to Disneyland and California Adventure. Basically, you buy one ticket into Disneyland then you can visit California Adventure on a different day for free. Here's a link of the ad. I don't have much details on it but it's something worth looking into... Enjoy!

this is a great discount, unlike the one day park hopper pass where you have to use it in one day. this one at least lets you use it over two days.

I just wanted to point out folks not living in So Cal may not be able to use these tickets. I think they run this promotion every year, I know they had it on last year although we were able to get tickets at the gate then. We had APs but were taking the nephews (who live in So Cal) and wanted to by the 2fer tickets for them. We had a heck of a time getting them, as they were insistent that we provide ID for the kids that showed they lived in the area. They were willing to accept a shool ID, except the kids were 4 and 5 at the time! They did eventually let us buy them, but it was quite an ordeal.

That's a good point, Amberle3. It may only apply towards So. Cal residents only. I'll stop by there later today and get more details.

Southern California residents can purchase up to eight "Southern
California 2Fer Tickets" at the price of $53 for guests age 10 and older, and
$43 for guests age 3 to 9. Proof of Southern California (Zip Codes 90000
through 93599) or Baja California (Zip Codes 21000 through 22999) residence
is required for admission into the Disneyland Resort theme parks.

One day at Disneyland, one day at California Adventure.

Is it just hard to get the tickets or is it hard to use them for non residents? Do you have to show ID to use them at the gate? Wondering if my friend from southern Cali could buy some and we use them?

We were told we'd have to show ID for the boys to use them at the gate, but since the kids were 4 and 5 the CM at the gate didn't ask for ID. I'm sure they likely would for anyone that would be old enough to have ID though.
