We are planning to go this Winter/Fall with my cousin's family (just her and her 2 kids) We have 5 in our family, so we will not fit in a standard room, but if we spread our 8 apart, we can do it. Do I have to book us all together on one reservation? Or separate, and have her claim one of my kids? I am not sure the easiest way to do it. My cousin isn't into planning like me, so I feel like it would be easiest to put us all on one... but I don't know at all about how it all works.

Does anyone have any experience, helpful tips? I want to have it all figured out before we have to book.

You can book all together just have to book 2 rooms. When you book you lost who is in each room. So room 1 would be you dh and 2 kids then room 2 cousin and 3 kids.

Just be aware that even if you do the booking for both rooms, you will receive 2 reservation numbers -- each room will officially have it's own reservation number. You can ask to have them linked as traveling together.

Enjoy your vacation!

Thank you! I wasn't sure about that.

I know that they probably won't "guarantee" adjoining rooms, but I will still try. I am sure that it will all work out just fine.

You can call reservations and have them link the reservations, then request "connecting" rooms. That will signify you want an interior door allowing access between rooms. In Disney speak "adjoining" means near and "connecting" means interior door connecting rooms.

There are many Disney resort rooms that will sleep 5, so depending on where you stay, you may be able to put your whole family in one room and her family in another.

Thank you, I wasn't aware of that lingo.

I know there are 5 person rooms, but those resorts are more expensive, and my cousin cannot afford those places, and we really want to stay at Pop.
