Hi, everyone! I've rented points several times before thru DVCers and have recently convinced a good friend that it's the only way to stay at WDW!! ::yes::

Anyway, we're in need of 164 points for our stay at BCV this Nov. We'll be arriving on Wednesday, Nov. 3, and departing on Monday, Nov. 8. We'll need 2 studios for 9 people (1 is under 2 and in a crib). Is anyone out there interested in renting this many points for a reasonable price?? Please e-mail me at shorner@waterw.com if you have available points for BCV that you'd be willing to rent to us! Also, if any of you has non-BCV points available for rent at a good price, we'd be willing to wait 'til the 7-month window for our ressies...

Thanks in advance for your help!

Take care,
Sarah

Just wanted to bump this up... Is anyone out there interested in renting for a bit less than $10/per point for 164 points???? Please let me know at the e-mail address above.

Thanks,
Sarah

I think you may be having a challenge with this request because the time period is, first of all, during the Food & Wine Fest at Epcot. Both BWV and BCV tend to sell out and sell out early. Second, I'm pretty sure that that week is Jersey week when there are extra crowds because New Jersey schools are out. Between the 2 (particularly the F&W Fest) it can be difficult to get the reservations. Last year that week, all of DVC sold out - BCV and BWV first because folks could walk into Epcot for the Fest.

If you can get ressies at all, it's not very likely you will find them at less than $10/point. The best chance for a "good price" would be if someone came up within 30 days of the date and couldn't use their existing reservation for some reason and had to have a "fire sale". You'd have to wait until a lot closer to date for that, and it would be a real long shot.

We usually go that week and make that reservation at 10 or 11 months out just to be sure we will have a room. I'm not trying to discourage you, just inform you that you are going after a high demand time and location.

I really appreciate your giving me a heads-up on this time period, as we've never been in Nov. before. I had no idea that it would be sold out so far in advance either. In the past, I've always reserved thru DVCers about 5-6 months ahead of our anticipated travel time (Feb., May and Sept.)... Guess Nov. is a different story! Perhaps this isn't the best time to go -- have you found it very crowded at all the parks during "Jersey week"???? Any advice is appreciated! :)

Take care,
Sarah

I've only been in Epcot that week. Uncharacteristically, it was fairly uncrowded during the days (not empty, just nice) and a little busier at night. It got quite a bit busier on the weekends. I've heard that's because a lot of locals come for the F&W. We did see and/or meet a lot of folks from Florida. Our friends did hit the MK that week and said it was quite crowded. That may have been where all the kids from Jersey schools were!! I asked them about lines for rides. It didn't sound like it was anywhere near the size of crowds in the summer with one exception - the parade only ran one evening while we were there and MK was pretty bad that night I hear.

For what it's worth, I have had luck getting OKW a little closer to November - say 4-5 months out.
