2 Epcot EMH questions

Good morning - I have a couple Epcot extra magic questions -

1. If FW hours are 8-7PM, and WS hours go til 9PM, when do EMH start? Do they go from 9-12 for the whole park?

2. I know they give out FPs for EMH. When do they start doing this? Thanks

1. This is less confusing if you understand that

FW does NOT fully "close" at 7pm on ANY night of the year.

The following attractions stay open until IllumiNations begins every night:

Space Ship Earth
Mission: Space
Test Track
Soarin'
and sometimes, the Seas Pavilion

And on EMH nights, they (and likely, a couple more) stay open until 12 midnight along with certain WS attractions. (12:30am at Christmas season).

Every attraction that is listed as being a part of Evening EMH at Epcot will stay open until approximately Midnight.

If, on occassion (certainly over the holidays), Illuminations is scheduled for a 9:30 PM presentation and Epcot is scheduled to close at 9:30pm, then every attraction that is listed as being a part of Evening EMH at the Epcot , will stay open until approximately 12:30 AM.

On various dates, there will be certain other attractions that may be open during EMH as well.

The American Adventure in World Showcase is scheduled to have only a limited number of performances when it is a part of Evening EMH.


2. While FPs are generally available during AM EMH,
FP are not necessarily given out during PM EMH. (It varies.)
If they do happen to use them, they will "start over" at the beginning of PM EMH.

Ok, I'm confused. lol. "FP's" are Fast Passes, right? If that's true, then why do they hand our Fast Passes for EMH's? I thought Disney resort guests just got wristbands or something.

yes, disney resort guests get wristbands. however, they also hand out FPs to the major rides for EMH. i was wondering when this would start with EPCOTs staggered closing times

The start of PM EMH is 9pm. (9:30pm during the Christmas season.)

I posted that the particular rides in FW do not close at 7pm ANY day. meaning that the FW attractions are NOT in PM EMH mode until 9pm (And they are open to ALL guests until 9pm.)

And, they don't use FP's very often at all during PM EMH.
So i wouldn't count on there being any FP distributed during PM EMH.
