I'll be arriving at my resort before my daughter. I reserved both with my points. Can I check in for her? pixiedust:

If the reserations are in your name. They will need a credit card for both rooms which could be a problem for you because you daughter will be charging everything to your card then again that may not be a problem for you. Remember checking in does not mean you will get your room at that time, so it might be easier for your daughter to check in herself if the reservation is in her name.

Your name needs to be on her room too for you to check in both rooms. I have done so for friends and friends have checked me in (even when we've arrived on different days). I usually ask if they can wait for the credit card till my friends get there. If not, I give them mine and then my friends replace mine with theirs when they arrive.

Have you noted on both reservations that you want to be near the "x party?"

Yes, that is noted. Can I call and ask them to add my name? or should I put my other adult daughter on room two's reservation? She WILL be with me?
I just have to make sure I don't over plan myself out of the dining plan! :confused3

You should ask to be that both rooms be near one another on the reservation, I would heve both nemes on the reservation. i would also suggest that you relax.

Dining plan changes things since everyone on the reservation has to do the plan or not at all. Here's the rub - if you put both daughters names on the 2nd room, your 2nd daughter will not have keys to your room since her key (and the plan) will be tied to room #2 (and if she remains on your room and you do the plan, too, you'll be paying for her twice). If your daughter & family in room #2 are not going to do the plan, then I don't see a problem.

If I were you, I'd leave things as is. When you check in, ask if room #2 is close to you. Maybe someone else has a better solution.

Relax? What fun is that? :crazy2:

My daughter in the other room is a vegetarian and eats like a bird. Therefore she does not wish to get the dining plan. I think she should, but kids doesn't listen no matter how old they are! Her husband would love the plan I'm sure but fine...OK. To not have the two children on the plan would be nuts. At 5 and 9 years old there is no way they won't eat more then $11 worth of food per day. I want the plan with my younger daughter so I will put the Grandchildren in my room (in theory) and we will all get the plan (2 adults/2 children). I take it if I link the reservations too closely I would be required to add them to the DD. We will also have a kitchen so maybe for them they can eat a few meals in the resort room.
Relax did you say? Relax is for when we get there! pixiedust:
