2 DIS Princesses Are Taking On The World-And They Don't Even Know It!​

Hello and welcome friends to our PTR!



And who are we?

I’m Shannon, reality TV addict, die-hard Cubs fan, and compulsive Disney planner


I’m also mom to one little princess, 7 year old Maddie



Maddie loves pink, Frozen, going to WDW, talking about WDW, Frozen, and Mickey shaped soft pretzels.



You may remember my DH Bryan from previous TRs, but he won’t be joining us on this trip. Because we’re going to Disney World with…….

Hello! I'm Roni (RGirl here on the DIS) - secret reality TV addict (well, used to be secret, I guess), die-hard fan of no sports team whatsoever, and compulsive Disney planner.




She did watch the Super Bowl this year though!



And I too am mom to one little princess, 7-year-old Willow!



Willow loves blue (no, pink! no, blue!), Frozen, going to WDW, talking about WDW, Frozen, and Mickey-shaped ice cream bars.



You may remember that Willow and I usually tour WDW as a duo, but not this time!!!!




Roni and I met about 4 years ago here on the DIS. We started following each other’s TRs and realized that our DDs had a LOT in common. After a few years of chatting on the DIS we made our friendship Facebook Official, and since that day we’ve exchanged an absurd number of messages. On a given day we’ll message back and forth a minimum of 50 times.



50?? Good idea to go conservative on that estimate so as not to frighten people with the speed with which we manage to message.

Our girls started sending one another little cards, drawings, and WDW souvenirs in the mail. This past year they started calling each other on the phone and Facetiming. Maddie considers Willow her “best friend who lives 2,000 miles away”.



And Willow talks about Maddie as though she sees her every day and knows her as well as any friend here at home. Maddie is totally her best friend who lives 2,000 miles away.



And though we’ve never actually met I consider Roni my “best friend who lives 2,000 miles away”




And I talk about Shannon as though I see her every day and know her as well as any friend here at home. And Shannon is totally my best friend who lives 2,000 miles away!




Awww!




We'll use the PTR to share our resort, ADR, PP+ and, FP+ plans, and we need your help deciding how to tell the girls!

And Roni, you also guessed right-I am hoping to do the DCP next year!! Nothing is definite because I don't apply until February but if it all works out maybe you can fit a DISmeet in

Shannon to Maddie: roni and willow are going to Disney (insert days here) and roni thought it would be a fun surprise if you were the one to tell willow!

Roni to willow: Shannon and Maddie are going to Disney (insert days here) and Shannon thought it would be a fun surprise if you were the one to tell Maddie!

Then have the girls FaceTime and break the news for one another. They'll be so excited to tell the other one about their trip and then when they figure out their dates match, they'll be even more excited!

Unless they already know they're going and they just don't know they're going together. Then my plan is useless!

Hello ladies!!!

Oh my GOSH this sounds so fabulous!! I absolutely love that you found each other on the DIS. AND that it developed well beyond that. I kinda know what that's like, and it is truly so very wonderful. The only downside is having to wait for the TR. But I'm sure this PTR will be ridiculously entertaining and adorable too.

My goodness the girls are going to be over the moon with excitement I think. "Best Friends who live 2000 miles apart." That is so beyond precious on all accounts. I'd say this is going to be double the cuteness, but I think quadruple the cuteness sounds MUCH more accurate.

Aww - thanks! I think they are pretty cute myself. It really is amazing how close you can get with someone just from meeting here on the DIS. Crazy!!!

What a CUTE idea!!! Willow does actually know that we are going to WDW next summer (although no idea she is going with Maddie) - we had talked about it before Shannon and I started scheming to make this trip happen together. I still can't believe how close Shannon and I have become - I am very thankful. And I am certain she is too.
