Dfamily is looking into a character meal at PPH - is there a quick way to get there from the parks or is really the only way to walk?

second - does Disney charge a higher rate for dining during August? I've been researching menus and prices on Allears, and others and not sure if there is an additional surcharge.

I think the only "ride" you could count on would be to take the monorail from tomorrowland to DTD and then walk from there, but I believe there will always be some walking involved.

The high season prices for the PPH character breakfast are $29.99 for adults and $15.99 for kids. If you pay at the restaurant you will need to add tax of 8.75% and gratuity of 15% (which I think may be higher - 18%? - if you have a large group). This brings the prices to $37.11 for adults and $19.79 for kids. You may want to consider getting a voucher from last minute travel.com for this breakfast as this is one of the meals for which the voucher will save you money (the vouchers cost $27.87/$14.38, tax and gratuity included).

Do you know if lastminutetravel dot com charges fees or shipping for the character dining vouchers? Or is $27.87 your total price for the voucher?

I think those are the final prices. I believe they send you something (via email?) that you then exchange for the vouchers at the park. See posting #12 in this thread:

I bought mine through Disney with my package, so perhaps someone who has done through LMT this can chime in with exactly how it works.

Thanks. We were going to order vouchers through Getawaytoday but it looks like this will be cheaper, and definitely cheaper than paying at DL since we are going in August.

Does the lastminute site offer vouchers for Storeyteller's breakfast too> I'd love to save some money!

It's for any of the character meals. We are planning on Storyteller's actually and were quoted $32 for breakfast in August plus tax and tip, so these will definitely save us money.
