Our family will be going on the fantasy on Aug 20. But we will be in WDW for 3 nights prior to the cruise. We were thinking of spending a day at Blizzard Beach and a day at typhoon lagoon. But as the day gets (sort of) nearer, I'm feeling the pull towards MK. Our kids will be 9 and 7 and we have never been to a Disney waterpark. We have been to WDW about 5 times. Looking for any ideas/advice/thoughts...
Thanks.

I personally would choose one day at the MK and one day at either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. I think 2 days of water slides would get tiring for children and my girls are at similar ages as yours at 10 and 6.

I agree at least you get the best of both worlds. Everyone will get what they want.

Buy a 1-day ticket with WP&M and do one day at MK and then one day split between Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

Don't forget that The Fantasy has it's own wonderful water slide! So I vote for Magic Kingdom and one water park. Have fun!

Another vote for MK and one water park. Our favorite water park is TL. BB has a lot of body slides, and my kids (nor I) are into body slides. We love the wave pool at TL.

My Favorite is Typhoon Lagoon also! I love the tropical feel. The lazy river is so beautiful!

Yes. This ticket is very un-Disney like- they give you 2 water park (etc) admissions with the 1-day theme park ticket. Kind of surprising.

Pshaw, I am a couple years past geezer (according to my kids) and I can spend 3 days doing the water parks at Diz. There is a lot to do.

I didn't mean tiring in an exhausting way, I meant it more they would get tired of doing water slides for two consecutive days.

I would do both water days, when our kids were that age they could not get enough of the wave pool at TL and kids area at BB. Plus coming from Canada we love the waterparks.

Oh I understand that too, however the 2 parks are so different that I can easily lay odds that because of the differences that the kids wouldn't get bored. Now as for me, fix me up a nice Long Island and put me in the lazy river and wake me when it's time for dinner :)

They are different in many ways. I do know though with my kiddos that when they are in pools or water slides all day they get pretty wiped out.

I think we are going to go for the water park and more. And use the 2nd day at the water park after the cruise (we don't fly back to Toronto until the Monday after the cruise). So we will go to MK on Thursday, BB/TL on Thursday -- off to the cruise on Saturday. Back to wdw following the cruise for a waterpark "night cap" and then back to reality.
Thanks all for the ideas.

You'll only have 2 water park admissions, so if you do both water parks in one day before the cruise (you typed "Thursday," but I think you meant "Friday,") you won't have another water park admission to use after the cruise.

We will go to Blizzard Beach on the Friday before the Cruise, and Typhoon Lagoon on the Sunday after the cruise. The tickets will be good for 14 days from the day we go to MK (Thursday).
