Hi,

We only have 2 days to spend at DLP. Which rides should we not miss out on?

Our 10 year old hates rollercoasters and we have a 3 year old son too. So, nothing too scary!!!

We are trying to come up with a plan of action for each day to maximise our ride time without overdoing it. Bearing in mind, our son won't be able to do a lot of walking as he's only 3 and Dad would have to carry him on his shoulders a fair bit!!!

We will be going to both parks, Disneyland Park on Tuesday and Disney Studios on Friday.

Buzz will be a must-you go round in a train type thing shooting at targets with laser guns, great fun! We loved Autopia too, cars on tracks that the kiddies can drive themselves, good fun. Peter Pan is always a popular ride too, a gentle 'flying' ride. Pirates of the Caribbean is fun, though there are a few 'drops' but they are quite gentle-I hate rollercoasters and can just about cope with it! For 3 year old there is of course the Carousel and Dumbo ride, always firm favs with the little ones :thumbsup2 . My must do ride is It A Small World :goodvibes

Don't forget to factor in the parades/character train too, kiddies love seeing all the characters :)

In Studio Park would recommend the Stitch Live show, good interactive fun.

Have a great time-and if you don't fit it all in, it's a great excuse to go back again!!

Have you been to another Disney Park? If yes, then you may want to concentrate on the rides/attractions that are unique to Paris - Do investigate the Castle from top to bottom - especially the bottom where the animatronic dragon lives. POTC at Paris is reckoned to be the best of the bunch by many people - so do visit that. Alice's Labyrinth is also a one-off. Other treats for your age group would be Buzz, Peter Pan, (although both of these get v.busy and may be best to FastPass), IASW, maybe let the older one do Phantom Manor whilst the younger one is taken on Dumbo or the Carousel.
In the Studios you should try Flying Carpets and Stitch Live as a must, Animagique for the younger one (and maybe Cinemagique for the older), Tram Tours (sit the little one in the middle) and Stunt Show.

Don't forget that the adults can still enjoy the rollercoasters - you can 'babyswitch' so that one adult sits with the children whilst one rides, then you can switch over so the second one rides without having to queue again. It's your holiday too, after all.:teeth: Hope you enjoy.

I would definitely do Peter Pan - it's so magical. I don't think you can go to DLRP without going on IASW - it's probably illegal to miss this!:rotfl:

BTW - you can hire a pushchair for a 3 year old when you are there. This might save a lot of shoulder carries.:thumbsup2

For me, these are the absolute do not miss attractions:

Disneyland:
Phantom Manor
Pirates of the Caribbean
Explore the castle including the Dragon's Lair
It's a Small World
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
Star Tours
The Parade
If on - Tarzan and the Lion King Shows

WDSP:

Cinemagique
Stitch Live
Moteurs Action

Hello, It's a small world. Buzz is fantastic. Stitch, I could not believe how fantastic that was. Brilliant. Phantom Manor I loooooove.

Try Big Thunder Mountain, once tried you can't help but love it and want more and more and more and more.

Buzz
POTC
star tours ( but your children might not like it!)
Cars
BTM ( a tame roller coaster)
IASW
Peter Pan

are all definites we do each trip :goodvibes

your children might like pinocchio, flying carpets, and others in fantasy land
there are plenty of "tame / slower" rides :)

i would defnintely bring, or hire a buggy for your 3 yr old, even if they dont use one at home

our son is 6 now and we have hired a buggy even when he was 4 and 5 yrs old! for some of the day ( from early evening usually when he is flagging!)
theres nothing worse than whinging, tired kids ;)

at least in the buggy you can get on, without having to keep stopping, and they can rest their ickle legs :thumbsup2

I think Buzz is a must for kids of all ages! (Grown-Up ones included :) )
The Stitch show is brilliant. :stitch2:
As a matter of fact, all of the interactive rides are brilliant.
A personal favourite of mine is; Honey I Shrunk The Audience, again this is something that everyone will love! :jumping1:
