We are planning a 2 day trip to WDW in Nov with 2 friends who have not been there in 22 years. I would love suggestions on how to spend the days that they get the most out of the trip. We are in our 50's and they are upper 60's ..so no commando trip, lol. Would love your ideas and suggestions if there are places to get discounted tickets. We are AP holders and DVC members, but do not want to over do it for them!

Will you have two FULL days or are you arriving or departing on your park days?

My first suggestion would be to skip DHS..... unless you are ride junkies and want to do ToT, RnRC, and Star Tours.

Can you afford PH passes? If you have two full days in the park, how about starting day 1 at AK, then hoping to MK. Day 2, start at Epcot and then hop to MK. I love ending my days at MK, can you tell? Or spend a FULL day in MK, then split the other day between AK and Epcot.

You can get discounted tickets at UT, but I don't think the 2 days passes are discounted by much.

if you want to hit all parks do MK and DHS, then for the second day, AK and Epcot.
DHS is basically empty right now. Unless you're willing to skip DHS, spend one full day at MK then the second day at AK and EP.

If you do a full day at MK:
FP Space Mountain, SDMT, and Peter Pan
Go at RD and head to Splash Mountain and BTMR if you are there after the 19th, then to Haunted Mansion, Pirates, then to Fantasyland. After finishing Fantasyland get something to eat and attend your FP for the rest of the day. You should also watch Wishes.

if you decide to go to DHS (schedule your FP for MK for the evening- nighttime (around 2-closing time)), go to DHS at RD and go to RnR, ToT, and TSMM. After TSMM go to Star Tours and head over to MK.
When you get to your first FP do a ride in between and attend your second and so on...

The next day schedule your FP for EP. Schedule your FP for FEA, Mission Space, and The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

Go to AK at RD and hit Kilimanjaro, Everest, and maybe Kali. Try to snag in a Lion King Show before you leave.

When you arrive at EP, go right to Soarin' (it probably will be a decent wait, but it depends when you are going to WDW) after TT, and use your FP for the rest of the night & maybe watch Illuminations.

have fun!

Our plan is most likely to arrive early on one day and leave late the following day. I know trying to cram so much into so little time isnt ideal, but it is what it is. I think we may just end up doing a MK day and an EP day. My friend is sooooo excited to go after all this time, her DH isnt as enthusiastic :sad2:, therefore I don't want to push them too hard. Can you tell me if the Christmas decorations will be up Nov 14? Also if you can only do one meal with them (table) what would you suggest? TIA

I think time at Animal Kingdom would be lovely if you want to take it easy. I find the atmosphere so beautiful and peaceful there. So many details to take in. There are opportunities for great shows such as Festival The Lion King and Finding Nemo or It's Tough to be a Bug or Fights of Wonder (my favorite!) if you want to take a load off of your feet.

I think the safari is great for all ages. Lots of opportunities to see animals on the walking trails if everyone in your party is up for that. I guess you'd have to decide if the rides are your thing or not, but I enjoy them. I love eating Lo Mein at Yak and Yeti. (Or the ribs at Harambe Market). Yak and Yeti is so pretty inside, and sometimes you can get a table upstairs where you can look out and see all the people walking by. Anyway, you know what you and your friends like and don't like, but I put my two cents in anyhow!

My favorite meal though has to be Boma, even though it isn't in the parks. One time I flew down from MN and had dinner there my first night and although I was staying for several days I remember thinking, if I came here and just ate at Boma and went back home, that in itself would be worth the trip!
