2-Day solo "scouting" trip ideas?

Hi!

Due to changes in plans, it looks like I will be doing two solo days at DLR on 7/2-3 while my DD is at a skating camp. I won't be able to get to the Disney parking lot until around 9:30 am and would have to leave at 4:30 pm due to drop-off & pick-up.

We will be doing our family DLR trip on 7/9-10, so I'm seeing this as a way I can scout out the new stuff and make our plans, which I think will be a good thing, and have a more relaxing time than running here and there trying to get everything in. Since we're in CA on vacation and are about to take a trip up north for a week, I really won't have time to plan these days. So, if you were in my shoes, how would you "do" these days? (I don't care about riding Screamin, ToT, Splash, Indy.) I should say that I'll be spending a lot of time taking photos since my family moves too fast for me to do this when I'm with them.

I'm just curious to see what others would do, that's all.

Also, is there a list of the rides with single-rider lines somewhere?

Thanks!

I would try to walk each path slowly looking for nice areas. Find the Kodak Picture Spots. See the small entertainment and decide if you want to catch it with your family.

Figure what areas/rides you want to do during the day or night.

Learn how to use FastPass in both parks at the same time.

In addition to the official website's list of SR lines, Matterhorn just opened a SR line as well. :thumbsup2

Also note that the SR line for Soarin and RSR may take quite a bit of time (30+ min).
