My daughter and I are planning a quick mommy daughter trip in mid April. We will have 2 full days of park time. Our favorite parks are MK and Epcot. We will be staying at CSR and will have park hoppers. We have been to Disney before- twice in the last 2 years- so we aren't looking to cram everything in in those two days. Those trips were planned out far in advance and this one is kind of spur of the moment. Im ok with skipping DHS and AK, but also open to maybe a morning or afternoon at either. I realize that there are many different ways to plan two days, and it differs based on the preferences of the people involved, but Im just looking for any strategy/itinerary suggestions from those who may have done a quick trip like this before to get some ideas of options. Thanks in advance for sharing!

If you really wanna do MK and Epcot, I’d devote one full day to each. Or you could maybe do MK one full day and RD AK the next, then hop to Epcot in the afternoon. If it was me though, I’d just do one full day at MK and Epcot.

If MK and EPCOT are the two you really enjoy, I find opening one park and closing the other, and then switching the next day is fun on 2 day trips... I'm one that likes to split the day up in 2 different parks (at least), but that's just preference. I also have rope dropped one park, hopped to another, and then closed a third (the park hours are obviously key here). So, for example, my last trip I rope dropped MK and rode what I wanted in the morning, hopped to AK to ride FoP and eat, and then hopped to EPCOT to finish out the night. It's really dependent on your favorite rides, where you want to eat, and any fireworks/night shows you love... Have fun!!

My choice would be to get to one of the parks @ opening and stay there until about 3 or 4:00 pm, then go back to the room for a short break and do the other park at night. That will break-up your day a little bit and schedule what night time shows you'd like to see.

I'm liking these ideas! Sounds fun to break up the day like this and hit the preferred night time show!
