2 day adventure - need advice!

My sister and I are crashing my parents leisurely vacation and going on a 2 day Disney World adventure with no littles! Jan 20-21. We have 2 day hopper tickets, staying offsite at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. Day 2 our Dad is joining us and a must do for him is Flight of Passage. (And the GotG if we can make it work)

Thoughts on what strategy we should employ to get the most bang for our buck? Going to buy Genie+ and will buy $LL if that is the best strategy.

I was thinking of starting day 1 at Epcot and then hopping to HS. Trying for the VQ for GotG at 7am. (Had really good luck last time getting Rise with VQ) then trying for $LL at 9am if I fail to get VQ. Then booking a LL for Remi or Test track, and rope dropping whichever one we don’t get. After that, starting to book LL at HS. SDD is not a must do at HS and we will probably get in line at the end of the day for that if we want to ride it. Should we buy $LL for Rise at 8:30am when HS opens or wait?

Day 2, I was planning on starting at AK since it opens at 8am. Should we rope drop FoP or try to get a $LL or both? And I plan on getting a safari LL and maybe a LL for lion king or Nemo. The plan is to hop over to Epcot if we can buy a $LL for GotG and then MK, otherwise go over to MK right away.

Thoughts? Should I switch anything up?

Sounds like a really fun trip. I agree with your day choices. Epcot on Friday/AK on a Saturday, no suggested change there. I think your G+/iLL$ choices sound solid, I would plan on you and your sister both trying if you can especially for the VQ. If you don't get VQ for Rise, it's smart to get in line near or at park close, as long as it's up and running, you can be on the ride and done in 30 min. If you are ok with RD at AK, I'd plan to RD FoP and also try for iLL$ if your dad really loves it so you can ride twice. Have fun!
