Hi there,

We are travelling to Disney World as a group of 8, 2 families of 4. One member of each family is eligible for a DAS pass.
When obtaining a return time on the app, if both families open the app at the same time will we be able to get the same return times? I presume the return time is just the current wait of the ride?
I believe I have read we are not able to use one DAS pass as this is limited to 6 persons? Also I believe if you have your own DAS pass you can not ride on someone’s else’s DAS pass?
Hope this makes sense?
Thank you 🙏

Maybe, maybe not.
The DAS Return Time is based on the wait in the Standby (regular) line. If the Standby wait changes while someone is booking the DAS Return Time, the 2 different groups may have different DAS Return Times.
But, DAS Return Times don’t expire - they are active until used, changed or the park/attraction closes for the day. So, if you want to ride together, just have the earlier group wait until the later group’s Return Time has started.
Guests can only have one active DAS Return Time at a time.

When someone is registered for DAS, other members of their Friends and Family group on My Disney Experience will be linked to the DAS user.
DAS users can‘t be linked to another DAS user. The Friends and Family members can be linked to more than one DAS user, but if the DAS users are each getting a DAS Return Time for different attractions, the other linked people will have to choose which DAS Return Time to be on.

The usual number for one DAS is 6 (5 plus the person with the disability). CMs have discretion to link a larger number to one DAS, but it’s an exception and not guaranteed.

If you both log in at the same time your return time should be the same if not a minute or two off from each other

Hopefully that’s how it works.
But, we have run into situations where the wait time changed by 15 minutes or more between the time when we tapped the app to get a DAS Return Time and when it actually was confirmed by the app

Wow that is a lot for a very short time

Hi, thank you for your reply. I now understand 2 DAS users can’t be linked to obtain return times. However, I just want to double check something about Genie + We will be purchasing Genie + and will invite each other as Friends and Family on MDE so that all 8 of us can select our rides together. Will we still be able to do this for Genie + even though 2 members of group are registered for DAS. Obviously we don’t plan on using DAS for every ride.
Thank you in advance

DAS and Genie+ are totally separate
