2 contracts transfer and sale question

I currently have a contract at BCV Oct UY and closed this week on a small contract at VWL with a Aug UY. My understanding is that I will have two member numbers since they are different UY. My question is if I transfer points from BCV to VWL for a Oct 2008 ressie can I sell my BCV contract without issue?

I assume once the points are transfered to another contact they are gone and I would be able to sell without a problem but wanted to check with the power of the Disboard first.

You want to sell a striped contract?
Transfered points retain their home and UY. You can't use BCV points for a VWL reservation at 11 months.

Yes, looking at selling a somewhat stripped contact not completely just taking what I need for an unscheduled Oct trip.

Looking at booking at any DVC resort in Oct of 2008 - no issue with 11 month window.

I think you both mean a stripped contract and not a striped (like a Tiger) contract.

Your transferred points would retain their status as BCV points with the Oct UY. If they are current year points, you should be able to transfer them without a problem. But I don't think you can transfer next year points.

The worst you would have would be waiting until Oct after your trip to close on the sale of the contract. A BCV contract, if it is smaller, should still have a relatively good value as a resale, even if it was stripped.
