2 BR Villas at Kidani Village

In a couple of weeks, I will be making my ressies for next October. We had originally thought we would get a 1 BR in Kidani Village (savanna view). Now I'm looking at borrowing points so we can get a 2 BR. My question is--Are there dedicated 2 BRs in Kidani Village? (My DS13 and DS11 now want their own beds, and I would love to curb the fighting!) If so, are there some with a savanna view? Any close to the lobby and pool? TIA!

Yes, Kidani Village has dedicated 2-bedroom villas. Kidani Village is the only portion of AKV that has dedicated 2-bedrooms. Jambo House only has lock-offs. They will be spread out across the entire resort, so there will be savanna view and should be some near the lobby and pool.

Kidani does have dedicated 2brs. 42 SV and 18 STD view.

Since the one bedrooms have the sleeper sofa and the sleeper chair, that would give your DS's each his own bed, and with the second full bath in Kidani's 1 bedroom, wouldn't that be enough?

Also be aware that dedicated 2BR at Kidani is a guaranteed booking category so if you reserve dedicated you won't end up in a lock-off

We thought about just doing the 1 BR because of the sleeper sofa and sleeper chair, but to be honest, I'm getting tired of having to pull out the sofa, and then a sofa AND a chair would have to be pulled out each night. I know I sound lazy, but it's vacation!!! I don't want to have to fool with anything I don't have to. We were planning on doing 2 BRs after this next trip anyway, and I just figured out our points and realized that we could go ahead and get a 2 BR this time, too. Plus it's our first official trip HOME! I want to make it special. I guess I want extra, not just enough!

I don't blame you one bit! That is one of the reasons we bought DVC to have that extra space. We did like the idea of squishing in a one bedroom (if we had too and were short on points) but are hoping not to ever have to do that. Last year was our first year and we stayed at SSR in a 2 bedroom and now we are going in 3 weeks and staying at BLT in a 2 bedroom!
