2 bounceback end dates

Does anyone remember when to book bounceback initially ended in sept of 07 and when it was extened too?

I am booked to arrive Friday Sept 26 and am fearful that IF bonceback is offered again, it may not still be going on when we arrive... I know
I am disney OCD...
planning for 09 and 08 hasn't even happened yet
the planning is 1/2 the fun ..

Originally that last Friday - shoot, I don't have a calendar. The 29th? I'm trying to remember when I came home. Anyway, when I did get home it was posted on the DIS that booking had been extended to October 14.

This is all estimates. Wait. Non-bounceback last year had to check in by 9/21; I did; so I left seven days later, so okay, originally the deadline was 9/27. But that doesn't make sense, does it? That would have prevented the previous year's BounceBack Guests who were checking in on their last possible day - the 28th - from doing another BounceBack.

yup, that's pretty much the conversation that is goin on in my head

but I see you post a lot with what I think are good responses so let me ask you your thoughts on this.. I am checking in on Friday the 26th... the last day to check in on bounceback (one of the lucky who booked the last day and two weeks out) IF, they offer bounceback again, do you THINK (a guess I know) It will go until the last day to check in on bounceback??

Really, it doesn't make sense to make an offer like that, then end its availability before ALL potentially eligible Guests can take advantage of it.

Maybe the last day was the 29th, and I left on the 30th. I know for SURE it originally ended the day before I came home. My tickets are on my computer at work - I will try to remember to note what day that was, and post back tonight.

It was being offered through the last weekend of September--we were at CSR on a business trip with DH and the offer was in our room.

The info I have copied from last year (and hope it's correct! ) is that last year the Bounceback offered to guests during the Free Dining period was to be able to book the Free Dining package again for the next year, and was supposed to end on September 28,2007 but then was extended for bookings until October 12,2007 - and here's an actual copy of the BB info sheet from a resort room previously posted by Mickey2000:

Oh, sure - I go to all the trouble of first even remembering to look, then searching through my saved e-mails to find my e-ticket from last September's trip, then reading it, and remembering the information, and finding this thread again... and Seahunt beat me to it!

BounceBack is a promotion offered to Guests staying onsite - the actual deal varies at different times of the year. The one we're talking about is, Guests who stayed in a Disney-owned resort during the Free Dining promotion in 2007 could, by calling the phone number on the flyer Seahunt posted and putting down a $200 deposit, book a Free Dining Package for very late August to late September, 2008.

I believe they may be saying the bounceback was available for booking through 10/12/07 (i.e. you had to stay at a Disney resort and book before then). But the promotion dates were always through 9/27/08.

I got the flyers in rooms in September and October but didn't pay much attention since I didn't plan on booking it.
