Has anyone stayed in the 2 bedroom suites at Disneyland hotel lately? Are they as spacious as they look online? I'm looking at either the jr 2 bedroom or regular 2 bedroom connecting suites. Are the suites club level or would that cost extra? Has the service been as good as usualy since the hotel reopened?

Thanks!

I can only answer your 1st question! The 2–BR suite was very nice and spacious. There was a very large sitting area with sofa bed and then 2 bedrooms, each with 2 queens. When we stayed in one in 2019, it was not club level.

Club level is extra. We are currently in a 1 bedroom that can be a 2 bedroom. The living room is quite large. These pics are from a couple years ago and there are variations.

To the right of the lamp is the door to the second bedroom which we aren't using, and I don't have pics of.

We were given a 2-br suite a few years ago when we'd reserved a 1-br. I asked the desk CM twice if she was sure that was our room, and she was very sweet and said "of course!" When we got to the room, it was very much as Malcon10t's pictures show, but the 2nd bedroom was locked and our key didn't work. We weren't worried about it since we weren't expecting the 2nd bedroom, but we did go back to the desk and ask about it. There was a guest services guy who handled that kind of thing and he informed us that we hadn't reserved or paid for that bedroom. I said that I understood that and wasn't upset, just not sure if we were supposed to have it or not since we were told it was part of our suite. He gave us a voucher (I think it was $200) and said that he was sorry, but they would need that room. I wasn't mad or anything, because I hadn't expected it and I realized the new CM made a mistake or thought she could upgrade us, and I felt they were generous to give us the money. Anyway, the 2nd bedroom was a connecting room that is fully usable by itself for another party, so it would have added a bedroom and bathroom to what we already had. Our part had a kitchenette with refrigerator, bar, and sink, a half bath off the living area, and a bedroom and bathroom, so that suite as a 2-bedroom would have given a family 2 1/2 bathrooms. It was lovely! That was in the Frontier Tower and views were beautiful.

Thanks for the great pictures! The last time we were at DLH we had a deluxe room and it was a bit small for us. I booked the 2 bedroom for part of our January trip :)

That was so nice of them! I've never stayed in Frontier tower, maybe I'll get it this time.

I like the suites in the frontier tower. Most have a bar sink area. And many are on the ends and have balconies.

True! I've not gotten a balcony yet, but every suite we've gotten in Frontier has been on an upper floor. I'm not sure if all the suites are higher up but it seems like it. I've also never gotten one on the parking lot side, which would be a bummer but maybe they only have suites where there's a view of some kind.

A question about the balconies- I requested adventure tower, but if I want a balcony should I switch that to Frontier?

Thanks! I guess I'll have to think about it, because I might add club level, which is only in Adventure.

Does anyone know: How many two-bedroom suites are there -- by tower? Besides balconies, are there other differences from tower to tower?

The suites vary not only by tower, but by suite. 2 bedroom suites are a 1 bedroom suite, with a connecting room. If you see my picture above for the suite we had, the 1 bedroom suite connected to a second bedroom with a king bed with a twin daybed. Some connect to 2 queens, some to 2 queens and a day bed. We have had suites with a half bath in the living area, and full baths in thee living area. We have had full bars in the living area (generally in the Frontier Tower).

Does anyone know what the main difference is between the 2 bedroom JR suite and the 2 bedroom connecting suite?

With the new sale I could stay 4 nights instead of 3 if I go with the JR, but there's not much information about the JR on the website.

For that matter, I could stay 5 nights in the 1 bedroom suite. Not sure if that has 2 bathrooms, though, and of course who knows if I would get the bed configuration I want.

Thanks for answering these questions, btw. I've tried calling but the CM just reads what the website says about the rooms, and the chat window on the DLH site is never open lately.

Is the new sale related to the upcoming construction in DTD adjacent to the hotel?
