Size is the same and lock-offs and dedicated 2BRs are all located next to each other throughout the building so locations are the same for both. You will have two entry doors (studio and 1BR) from the hallway instead of the one which is on the dedicated 2BR. With the studio you get a mini kitchen that is not in the dedicated 's second bedroom, and you get a pull out full size sofa instead of a queen bed for the second bed in that second bedroom. One minor advantage of having that mini kitchen in the studio is that your initial allotment in the room includes two coffee packs and enough sugar and powder cream to have two pots of coffee. With the dedicated you get only one set because you have only one coffee pot in the kitchen of the 1BR; with the lock-off you get two sets because you also have a coffee pot in the studio; in other words with the lock-off you get supplies for four pots of coffee instead of two. There is one downside that always leaves me preferring the dedicated 2 Bedroom; on the lock-off, the balcony that runs across the 1BR and studio has a barrier wall separating the studio portion of the balcony from the 1BR, while the dedicated is open from end to end making it better for family use and views. Nevertheless I would not consider that a reason tp avoid it if a dedicated were not available
