2 bedroom - 2 credit cards?

In the past, I know you've only been able to use a single credit card to cover room charges, even if you were in a 2 bedroom.

We have a trip upcoming in January, and I"m hoping that rule has changed. Can the 2 bedroom room keys be keyed in such a way that 2 keys charge to credit card A, and two keys charge to credit card B?

We're sharing a 2 bedroom with my SIL/BIL, and i'd like them to be able to charge their charges to their own credit card, instead of having to figure things out later after we get the whole room bill.

Is this possible yet, or are we stuck with just using a single credit card to cover all room purchases??

Thanks for any help you can provide!!

It is still just one credit card per unit. You can either have your SIL/BIL charge to your card and pay you back or you can disable the charging privileges on their cards. If you choose to give them charging privileges they could also stop by the front desk daily to pay off their charges. Each card has a unique number assigned to it so it will be easy to see which charges are theirs. Be aware, however, that sometimes your account total gets charged to your card before you hit the preset spending limit.

you need to use your credit card for you and tell FD no charging for the other members of your family - they can just take out their credit cards if they need too.

makes everything simplier - especially if traveling with people who charge everything (even meals when they are already pay). the dinning plan was on the card - but he was upset that he couldn't charge it....:happytv:

We just head to the front desk the night before checkout and have them separate the charges. Each key can be coded separately then each party pays their own bill. Just make sure you make it down before midnight as that's when the charges go through.:)

Unless you and your friends charge over $1500 to the room. Once you hit $1500, it gets charged to your card. And then it starts over.

As Craftymouse mentioned ...they often charge your card BEFORE it reaches the $1500 limit.

I say, just tell them they need to bring their credit card with them and pay that way.

Seems the simplest to me.

I went to check on a balance and was charged to the card by the CM. I asked why and got a blank stare. I told them what if I had planned on paying cash later and now couldn't. I hope the CM figured out they were wrong in doing that. When I check now I tell them do NOT charge the card right now. We are going to a 2BR in Dec with friends. They will have charge privileges and we will carry our credit cards.

I think I misunderstood the question -- so deleted my post.

I'm so confused. I was told by someone either at member services or SSR that it was possible to have more than one credit card on separate room keys. I was inquiring about it since we will be 3 families in a 2 bedroom. They said no problem. I wish I could remember who I spoke to. So was this not accurate information?

After I posted I decided to cal SSR to ask. I was told that it is possible to have different credit cards on different KTTW cards. She said all parties needed to be there at check in to give their card. When I told her I had been reading other wise she put me on hold and double checked. So, I am cautiously optimistic.
