I have a ressie for a 2 bedroom lock off in May at BCV. When i wanted to add a weekend day, they told me they cannot give a cash discount on a lock off, it has to be a dedicated. Is this true? Why? Can i can get the lock off without the cash discount, and pay full price and not have to change rooms? (I know its not guaranteed i wont have to move).
Thanks! :flower:

DVC cash discounts are subject to avalability (ie, if DVC thinks the room will sit empty if they don't offer the discount). Rental history may suggest that during your travel dates the room would indeed rent, without a discount, as a one bedroom and studio. If that is the case, it would not be worth it to DVC to take it out of inventory to rent as a 2 bedroom at a discount.

They said i can get the cash discount on a dedicated 2 bedroom but not the lockoff. I just wondered is this because they see the lockoff as being rented without the discount at THIS TIME. Or do they ALWAY'S not let you book the lock-offs for the cash discount?
THANKS! :flower:

It may be possible that the discount will become available closer to you travel dates, if they see that the unit may not rent seperately. If your travel dates include the Memoerial Day weekend, I'm suprised they offered yo uthe discout on the dedicated 2 bedroom. Earlier in the month, trends may indicated that there is a demand from owners for 1 bedrooms and studios on weekends.
