2 bed Lock-off villas

Could anyone tell me what a 2 bed lock-off villa is????

YOu will get answers on the DVC board, but the 2 BR lock-off is a villa with a locking set of doors between the studio part (second bedroom) and the kitchen part (one bedroom villa.)

A 2BR Lock off means there are two units (a studio & a 1BR) that can be "locked-off" from each other & rented as 2 separate units or put together as a 2BR. These units will have 2 separate entrance doors into the main hallway/outside.

A 2BR dedicated means it was built as a 2BR unit. There is only 1 entrance door.

Another difference is that in a lockoff you will have a full kitchen in the one bedroom section of the villa and a kitchenette in the studio section of the villa. In a dedicated 2 bedroom, you would not get the kitchenette.

Also, the lockoffs will have one bed and a sleeper sofa in the 2nd bedroom. Most dedicated 2 bedrooms (not all) will have 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom.
