Ok, asking the question way early, but I'm already planning early December 2009. I own at BWV and plan on making day by day ressies.

I'm going to take my parents and am deciding on lodging. We aren't too picky about our rooms so at first, I'd considered two studios. Well, we're going to have some leftover points so I considered a one bedroom and a studio.

Would the 1 bedroom and the studio be the same as a 2 bedroom at BWV?

BWV doesn't have any dedicated 2 bedrooms, but they do have dedicated 1 bedrooms and dedicated studios, but I don't think that you can book them as categories, you can request the dedicated ones.

Aren't the points less for a 2 bedroom than for a studio and a 1 bedroom? So if you can live with the connecting door between the units go for it!

I would opt for the 2-bedroom suite for a reason that is not obvious at first but when you get caught in this bind, you say "I should have thought of that". At check-in, the CM's are always very helpful in locating rooms on the same ressie as close together as possible. But sometimes they is nothing they can do. I did have one time (it was entirely my fault) when I book a 2-bedroom Boardwalk view suite and 3 standard view studios. I didn't know at the time that these two different views were located miles apart in the building. Needless to say, our party was spread out over the entire 4th floor (they did keep us on the same floor!). The 2-bedroom suite will have a door between the middle area (kitchen/living room) and the second bedroom so your parents can have privacy while still being close by.

so your parents can have privacy while still being close by.
You are assumeing they want their parents close by :wink

Note - a 2BR is a *lot* nicer than two studios. If you've got the points (and don't mind being close) I'd go for it in a heartbeat.

We took my parent recently and stayed in a 2 bedroom and planned another trip with them in Jan 09 in a 2 bedroom. Everyone loved the space (plus the washer dryer you wouldn't get with 2 studios). We have two little ones so it was a big help to have the grandparents in the same "room" rather than 2 studios. They could help with getting the kids dressed, fed, diaper changes, etc.
