Everyone has been so helpful and I now have managed to thoroughly confuse myself. Are the 2 bedroom units at BW WL BC much different and do you prefer one to the other? I know that OKW has the biggest units but I have stayed ther and really want to try a new place? Thanks

I think the only place with a big difference is BCV as it has some dedicated units with 2 Queen Beds (not a Queen and a pullout).

Maybe I am way off, because I know a lot more about BCV than anywhere else, but I thought that WLV also had 2 bedroom dedicateds with 2 queen beds. As a matter of fact, I thought all the 2 bedroom dedicateds at WLV had 2 queen beds. At BCV only 25 of the 2 dedicated bedrooms have 2 queen beds. At BWV there are no dedicated 2 bedrooms. So all of the 2 bedrooms have a couch and 1 queen bed in the 2nd bedroom.

Terry, you are not way off. In fact, you are completely correct.

huey duey & luey, if you are refering to the interior lay-outs, BCV VWL, and BWV are essentially the same (with the noted exception above). I think perhaps BCV also has a desk in the master bedroom, where VWL has a second night table.

You can't go wrong with any of them!
Good luck...

The dedicated 2-BRs at BCV have the door to the second bedroom close to the main hallway door. At VWL, the door to the second bedroom is close to the patio/balcony (off the main living room). The 2nd bedroom at BCV gives more privacy, and also eliminates the "dueling" of the 2nd BR/living room TVs.

Johnnie F,

Do you know if all of the dedicated 2BD's at BCV are as you described? We are traveling with friends and inlaws next month and I purposely requested a lockoff for the entrance layout based on our previous stays at VWL. If I had known about this layout, I probably would not have specified a lockout.

Thanks for the info!

As far as I know, that is the lay out. I think the "dedicated 2nd BR door next to the main entrance" was a new feature first seen at BCV. I do remember reading that there are some BCV units that have the dedicated 2nd BR door by the patio/balcony.

Any of our stays at VWL have been in lock-offs, and the 2nd BR door has always been by the patio/balcony, and I believe the door is in the same location in a dedicated VWL 2-BR unit.

In the past two trips we have stayed in both types at VWL. Both units had the 2nd bedroom door in the living room.

As far as I know, there are 2 dedicated 2 bedrooms on each floor at BCV that have the door to the 2nd bedroom in the living room area. All are pool views. They were done this way due to the angle of the rooms. (Basically, the 2nd bedroom doesn't connect to the living room in the front, only in the back)

Is the dedicated/lock off a request only, no way to guarantee?

The difference is sleeping arrangements between two queens and one queen plus sofa could be important to a family's plan.

At BCV there are 3 2 bedroom configurations that are all gaurantees, not requests. They are:

2 Bedroom Lock-Off (1 queen and 1 couch in 2nd bdrm)
2 Bedroom Dedicated (1 queen and 1 couch in 2nd bdrm)
2 Bedroom Dedicated with 2 Queens

As mentioned above there are only 25 with the 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom so book early!
