2 adults - early checkin for 1 and water park

How does water park admission work for 2 guests that are not coming in at the same time? I will be getting a room for myself and a DCP participant and I will do online check in. Since they are already at Disney can they show up at the resort grab both of our room keys for the water park admission and head to the waterpark? I will be arriving a little after noon and planning on going straight to the waterpark from the airport.

I thought all of the above (Ie keys, waterpark admissions etc) could be handled through the MDE app or a smartphone or magic bands? If your other guest needs to check luggage, then they would need to stop by the hotel.

Your Water park admissions should be listed in your MDE. Is your DCP participant listed or linked to your MDE with their own MDE via the Family & Friends function in MDE.

As for getting room keys, either of you can stop at the Front desk of your resort to grab them at any time.

You are correct that is how the process works today as long as the guests are linked in MDE or (1) person manages both individuals.

Waterpark tickets will show up on your MDE on check in day. Do your online check-in in advance. Also make sure the DCP person is on your room reservation, that will trigger the ticket for them. When you get to the waterpark they will scan the MDE, you don't have to go to room first.
