I am planning a trip for summer 2020.... I was set on getting 2-2beds.. but I can save points by doing 2 studios and 1-2 bed instead but of course we are losing comfort by doing that and it probably would be a better trip as originally planned... Just wondering what others thoughts are?

I have thought out how we would split up the families... and I think it would work out well both ways.. no older adult would be sleeping on a couch etc.. just kids or teens, early 20's.

1 family
Mom, dad, 2 boys, teens. 1 20 year old son with girlfriend

2 family
Grandma 55, 2 daughters 25 and 34 and 2 kids 8 and 11

1 great grandma 77

Me and my son - we get a master! Or I do maybe share with great grandma!

14 total maybe 15 if one more person comes.

But, the 2 - 2 bed does give the other married couple going a master instead of sharing 2 double beds or they could also have the studio but may still have a kid on the couch so not sure it matters....

anyway, just planning ahead trying to figure out point usage for future trips etc.

Thanks!! KIM

What are the bed "assignments" in the two 2BR v. one @B + 2 studios? Also, the 2BR will have an extra bathroom, so with that many people, that might make a significant difference!

The studios seems like a decent way to save points and gives the 2 adults in the second studio some privacy. Sometimes having the bedroom with two real beds makes a difference, but it seems like it only affects the two kids. I think they can deal with being on a sleeper sofa :-) I think I'd be inclined to save points if needed. And you don't feel like it'll take away from the social feel of the rooms.

Thanks for your advice! I will continue to consider... I figure the 2 bedroom could be the gathering place for everyone.... if we do it this way... but may be good to have separate spaces for people to get away from each other as well! We shall see.... I will save 45 points if I do it this way... not going to kill me points wise...but there are also pluses to the studios!

Option 1. I think it's better for the grandmas. The gathering point will be the 2-bedroom.

45 is a lot of points to save and I really don't think you're getting any benefit from having a second 2-bedroom.

Agreed... the only thing would be the married couple have master bed and one adult 55 will be on couch bed unless her and her mom share the queen in the studio...... otherwise.... all is good.
