Holy cow the Jets just beat the Patriots! Only 4 teams remain, sure hope my Packers go to the Super Bowl
On another note, I am not participating in the FE but I will keep up with the list if no one has an objection, it is getting to close to put it off anymore and we can't have any dissapointed kiddos. So here is what will make it easier for me to maintain the list...........please PM me your info 1.)cabin number 2) number of people 3) ages and gender of kids 4) DISboard name and any information you want to share names etc. I will post a list and just keep adding to it. Please please please if you send me your info and I did not add you within a day of doing so please bring it to my attention. I think we should cut the list off by next Sunday 2-23, let me know what you think you just need to have enough time to get your stuff done.

We are sailing on the Dream 2/13. This is our first ever cruise! Heard about DIS boards at a seminar, and I'm totally lost! My husband and I, and our 10 year old daughter, are so excited for this! We booked the Aquaventure excursion in Nassau, and the Extreme Getaway Package at Castaway Cay. After the cruise, we'll be spending 9 days at WDW.

My daughter is 10, turning 11 in April!

We will have to figure out a way to meet up and maybe get the girls together. I was hoping to find Sophia someone to meet up with as this is our first cruise in a long time without friends we have met on other cruises. Sophia will actually turn 11 on disembarkation day. We will be at AKV the night before, but getting in late. After, we are spending the weekend at AKV, and are actually meeting up with friends from another cruise with a 10 year old daughter. If your daughter has email or is on Webkinz, maybe they can communicate a little before. Send me a PM and I will PM you with Sophia's email address or Webkinz user. She is a fifth grader this year, and we are from OH - the Football HOF city, Canton. Also, FYI, we are main seating dining.

I am sending you my info... That is so sweet you will do it, espically since you are not participating! I had said earlier I would do it if nobody else wanted to, so if you want to pass on the info to me I will gladly take over! I finally got in cruise planning mode this weekend and picked up the supplies to make my FE.

hello everyone first timers here theres me, wife and son and daughter from uk in room 7116.

we are AKL for the 2 days before and SS 7 days after. Can you leave some of your luggage/belongings behind for when we check in at SS?

We are in 7614, same location on the other side!

Someone mentioned when to get together... I am definitely up for getting together before the drill.

Someone asked about identifying eachother. I typically wear a small Lime Green Mickey head on my lanyard. I got an "alien green" Disney paint sample at home depot and laminated it

Green Mickey sounds good to me! If you don't mind me stealing your idea...just for the meet, anyway.

One more question...sorry for all the newbie rookie questions...do the adults participate in the FE exchange too? Just so I know how many pockets I need.

Anyone can participate, the majority of cruisers have children. Ours are grown and don't sail that often with us. I would make your FE to have a pocket for each person. Everyone does it different, I did each child individualy and then something together for the adults in the room. The kids stuff took up alot of space in my suitcase. Other people do a bag of stuff per room. It's whatever you are comfortable with. We may participate but I may just do the statroom as a whole thing this time not sure. It is alot of fun to come back to your room and find goodies, my husband gave me such a hard time because I put so much stress on myself making and assembling the the gifts last time but he realy enjoyed finding stuff at night an I would catch him peeking out to check th FE
Also you don't have to wear anything in particular to meet, we usualy all find each other, you just walk up to a group of people and ask if they are the Disboards group we will be the only one

Seems like we're in HD every week just about, we'll also pick up a couple. Plus, if your kids like memory, pick up several pairs of colors, instant memory game!

If you want to get in the spirit, find "The Bears Still Suck" by The Happy Schapps Combo. One of the local stations, WAPL 105.7 is playing it once every hour tonight. I made sure to let my dad know, who somehow after growing up in north central WI ended up a Bear fan and Cubs fan. He and DH are already fighting for DS's loyalties!

Reading the boards I found out that the walls of the cabins are metal too so you can hang magnets on the walls I have not tried this yet so we will see

Yep I think the holidays slowed us all down glad to see you are back. I want to be there early too and start exploring the new ship

WOW, 26 days...really? I am SOOO ready!! Anyone else on the east coast getting this snow/ice/rain/ice storm? There's no more room to put any snow!

I can't believe the Patriots lost to the Jets. I love the Packers & Patriots & was hoping to seem them in the Superbowl. Now that that's not going to happen, I can only hope the Packers get in. Never thought I'd be rooting for the Steelers, but it appears I will be next weekend .

So how 'bout we meet around 2? Did someone say in the main entrance area?

There are several color green paint chips- "Alien Green" is the official color of the DIS Boards- LOL! I have actually gone to Home Depot a few times and it is the only color sample they are out of!

That means you don't have a stateroom assigned yet, you are guaranteed at least a category 6B (or better).

I am assuming by meeting up we can edit out FE lists with any changed cabin numbers? I have never done the FE before.
