Hi -

I have a 2-1/2 yr old and we are going to Disney in April. Do we have to use a TS credit for him at Buffets or does he eat for free? I know many buffets let those under 3 eat for free.

TIA
A

Your 2 1/2 year old won't have any dining credits because under 3 eats free.

Under 3s eat for free.My son is now 3 years old.Has anyone ever been asked for proof of age when it comes to dining?

Cheers,
Lynn

We've heard of enough cases where they've checked for proof of age that we'll be bringing a copy of DN1.5's birth certificate. She currently wears 3Ts, so there may be some confusion about her age. :)

So what if we go to a non-buffet restaurant? Do we have to pay for a meal for him off the kids menu since he won't have any TS credits?

Yes. The dining plan only gives credits for children and adults age 3 and older. Your 2.5 year old will eat free at buffets and he can share your adult meals at CS and TS restaurants but if you want to order a child meal it will have to be out of pocket.
