Hi all,

We finally found a Wii last Wednesday (Game in Meadowhall) and have been playing with it loads ever since, we both have very stiff shoulders and necks! However today there's been the first proper injury sustained!

We have to shift the coffee table back in order to make room to play. I was stood in front of it about to bowl. As I bowled, one of our cats shot out from under the coffee table behind me, directly underneath my right arm and the remote collided at some speed with the top of his head! I didn't even know he was there :( He seems fine now, just a bit skittish.

Still managed to get a strike from the throw though!!! :lmao:

:lmao:

Sorry about your Cat, is he perfectly alright? Has he tried to scratch you lately??? ;)

He's trying to attack his sister now so all is back to normal!

PS if anyone want to be my Wii-friend just PM me your number. I'll tell you mine back if someone explains where I can find it!

Your not on your own, I too had a wii/cat related incident last week. Mine was when I was playing tennis, I stood back to do a back hand shot and didn't see the cat walking behind me and nearly fell backwards over him!! I did manage not to kick him though, but it cost me the game of tennis!!

Our Wii has been somewhat underused of late, although I finaly got round to fitting my modchip at the weekend, so it will probably get a lot more use now.

I do think its been quite a dissapointing software followup since launch though. Hopefuly some decent games that make good use of the controller will come out soon.

Sounds like a dangerous 'sport' to me!

I suppose you could say it was a bit of a CATastrophy??? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Sorry couldn't resist:flower3: Hope your cats ok? :)
