What would you choose? DH got approval for both weeks off from work, yahoo!!!

Thank you!!!

Go with October. The first week in November is "Jersey Week" because the public schools in NJ are closed so LOTS of NJ families go there then. That's why that week is blacked out of many promotions - they don't need them because it is mobbed. I know because we go that week every year! lol

"Jersey Week" at Disneyland? :)

I would go with the first one of November : that way, you skip the Halloween crowd!

id go oct if you want Halloween, or the last week of nov for Christmas

We will be there last week of september-first week of october, and history shows that crowds really shouldn't be that bad at all! People are back at school/work right after summer break, should be wonderful! PLUS, you get to experience all the lovely Halloween stuff without the huge crowds that the Halloween season DOES bring later in the month! :thumbsup2

I'm going first week of October because I get the 8th off as a federal holiday and also because I found some really great rates at the GCH during that time.

Oh no! We're going that week and were hoping for low crowds!

I think the "Jersey Week" phenomenon is mostly seen at WDW. I've never heard anyone complain about it at DLR...

Both are good choices, October for Halloweentime and November for the first sightings of Christmas decorations before the "holiday" crowds come!
