I did some searching and noticed the 1st week of December hasn't been included in the room only discount bounceback offer since 2013. I know the 2016 room only bounceback offers won't be released until mid/late October, but what are the odds they will include the 1st week of December again? I know this has (sadly) become a more popular week, but with the 2016 rack rate changes it looks like the December weeks that were included in the offers for 2014/2015 are now considered "peak season" while the 1st week of December is "fall." Thoughts?
I currently have a room booked for 1 night later this year specifically to secure a bounceback offer for Dec. 2016 (anniversary trip, so the date matters.) I've been debating just canceling it, but haven't yet because I was still hopeful they might include that week for next year. If not, I may have to look into renting DVC points. Rack rate isn't an option and we need to pre-plan and can't wait until the fall/winter general public discounts come out for that time of the year to figure out where we're staying, etc.
