1st week in Oct weather and crowds?

Well we will be there next week. We are actually going to the parks Tues, Wed, and Thurs. I am hoping since it is the middle of the week that maybe it will be a little less crowded

We are leaving at 3:15pm for the long drive from the Bluegrass State on Friday September 29 for WDW and sunny FL. This will be our 5th time going this first week in OCT. Wouldn't trade it for any other week except maybe Christmas. The crowds are lighter except for the Epcot F&W stuff. Its been a couple of years ago but we did all 4 parks in one day riding only our Fav rides from each park. For that to happen the crowds had to be tollorable to move that quickly. This year we are taking it a bit slower and will be making our first off site stay. Plan on hitting MK on Wed of that week and AK on Thursday. The other days will be spent at those other places we like to go.

Cant believe the time has really come!!!

Ditto. I'm sitting in work DIS'ing away and it just doesn't. seem. real. We're off on sunday but the magic starts saturday night with our travel companions coming over and crashing for the night, watching the camcorder vids from the last trip etc. Doesn't feel like it it's only a few days away - it felt closer 3 weeks ago than it does now!!!! I just can't grasp that after a year and half of planning it's actually here...................

We will be leaving On Saturday on our very ALL OF A SUDDEN Trip.....I hope the crowd level isnt too bad.....I cant wait...Just a weekend thing, but anything is better than Christmas when the crowds were unbearable.....So I am excited and look forward to it......See ya there, i will have my Lime Green Mickey's as well......
