1st Week in December ~ Who's Going?!

So exciting! We are going to be at POR 11/29- 12/4! I can hardly focus on my work, I am so excited!:cool1:

We'll be there too, Nov 28 to Dec 6. I can't wait, although all of a sudden I'm starting to worry I won't get everything done. I need to start pulling out things for packing.

ok, so what kind of clothes is everyone packing? I've never been to FL later than the first week of Nov. Shorts? Jeans? A bit of everything?

I've been watching the accuweather.com 15 day forecast, and so far it goes up to the middle of Thanksgiving week. It says highs in the upper 70s :faint: and lows in the upper 50s. I would think that if it stays about the same, most people would be comfortable in either shorts or jeans and we'll probably pack both.

Hopefully as it gets closer, we can rule out the need to coats or gloves! I've heard stories of really cold weather that week, but so far, it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. I'm hoping for highs in the low 70s! :thumbsup2

We will be there 12/4-12/9! WL this time. We were in Disney 12/2005 very mild, shorts and tees during the day, sweatshirts in the early am and pm hours. Don't remember needing jeans that trip. However, 1/2006 it was a bit chilly. We have been saving for this trip since we got back in 06'. Stopping off at SeaWorld on the way for a few days...anyone been? We miss our SeaWorld. Went every summer of my life...then I had my first child...and poof gone.

Since we are going from NY to FL on an evening flight, I'd say we'll probably have the gloves and hats and coats :rotfl2::rotfl2: Unless the weather stays like we've been having :)

Everyone getting ready?! Have you all started packing yet?? Has anyone been following the accuweather.com 15 day forecast? So far it goes through Sunday the 29th. Yesterday it had Saturday the 28th with a high of 80! :scared: Today it says Sat and Sun highs 66 and 67! What's the deal!? I guess its hard to predict so far out, but I'm hoping to get an idea of what to pack, and 80s and 60s are two different packing lists for us!

We plan on bringing both long sleeved and short sleeved shirts with jeans/pants and capris for the girls and I while my DH said that he will bring mainly jeans and possibly one pair of shorts, just in case. We leave in 16 days and DH and I decided that it would be better to wait until we are one week out before we start to pack because we want to make sure what the weather is going to be like. These next 16 days are going to fly, and I feel like I still have so much to do before then :scared1:....between work and having to go to Jury Duty on Tuesday :scared1::scared1:. We are all very excited and cannot wait to get on the plane and get out of here :cool1:

AAHH!!!:eek: Accuweather's 15 day is now calling for rain on the day that we arrive! I know that so many things can change in 2 weeks, but seriously. Does it have to rain? Can't it be sunny the whole time?!:confused3

I haven't started packing yet, mainly because I'm still not sure what I want to bring. I know I better get sure soon, but as PP said, there's a big difference between 60 and 80.

To whoever mentioned the one pair of shorts: Years ago we went in mid-Nov and brought mostly jeans with 1 pair of shorts. The shorts ended up getting worn every day. Good thing we were staying in a time share with a washer/dryer LOL
