Just curious who's traveling to WDW the first week of Dec. We arrive at Pop 12/3/14-12/10/14. I am looking forward to the Christmas Decor.

We are arriving on the 6th for 12 nights. We LOVE this time of year!! We'll be staying at Bonnet Creek. Have a great trip.

We were there from the 10-15th this past December and it was perfect. The decorations were up, the crowds were light and the weather was beautiful. We would definitely go again during that time frame.

We are going with our soon to arrive in a couple of days baby, he will be 5 months Dec 3-9 staying CL at the WL!!

We will be there dec 5 -13 staying at por Still hoping for a discount
Good luck, one of my fav. hotels on property

Dec 3-9 for me. I love the decor and (usually) cooler weather.

Oh congrats an your expected arrival. My oldest is expecting her 3rd soon too. So exciting. We are taking my oldest granddaughter for this trip.

Am splurging on deluxe CL room at YC.

I have a limited amount of vacation time each year and most is spent visiting 87 year DM with Alzheimer's. She lives about 6 hours from me (near my brother), so my Disney time is the big happy moment of the year for me. I feel very blessed to still have her. She is in the mild to moderate stage and still knows us and can enjoy simple activities with the family.

I spend months making autograph and journaling cards and a unique journal. Vacations are brief but the planning, dreaming, and preserving of memories can be spread out for months.

I hope you enjoy your splurge. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time. It's hard when we have loved ones needing extra care but enjoy all the time we can with them.

Thank you, oixiedustmom, for your kind words. Mom has always been a loving person who wants her family to be happy. This is something that she has retained. My brother and I assess what she currently likes and try to give her as many happy moments as possible.

You may already be aware, but December 6-13 is Pop Warner week. It's the Superbowl and Cheer Competition for the Pop Warner youth sports organization. Last the Pop resort hosted the youngest of the athletes. Not as bad as staying at the All Stars resorts, but just something to be aware of.

We'll be there Dec. 6-17! We too will have a new baby; he'll hit 3 months old while we're there. This trip is all I can think about. :D We're staying at AoA and it's the kids' first trip! And our first family vacation over one night long.

I am not able to change things but maybe I will get super lucky and show up to them offering to give me some pixiedust to an upgraded :thumbsup2 Ok well one can hope right;) It is what it is I suppose and will live with it.

Yay, more new babies and fun family trips.

Maybe I could set up a fb page and we can plan a mini meet up or something? What do you all think?

We'll be there the first two weeks of December for my son's first Disney trip. :cheer2:

Staying at WBC and fitting in 4 days at Universal.

Just bought our Disney tickets yesterday. :woohoo:

Cannot wait!

Hoping to be there at that time.

We had a september trip planned and the money all saved but now my dh needs to find a job.

When he does get a job we will have to see if he can get time off.

If we do go, we'll be staying off property. I have been to Disney 8 or so time, but not in December. And I love Christmas, so I have been wanting to do Disney during the Christmas season for a long time.

We will be there Dec 1-6 at POR. First trip in December, have been 3 times in late January, early February. First trip for our two year old and our first trip with MIL. Fortunately, I really like my MIL.:thumbsup2

We're planning on being there the 4th to the 11th. My son and I haven't been since he was 2 and my daughter and baby haven't been at all. And my husband hasn't been in 20 years! MIL is coming along too just to help since the kids are so little (DS 5, DD will be 3, and DS will be 9 months).

Planning to stay at POR.

Is the Pop Warner Week that big of a deal? We already have our dining reservations. I don't really want to change it because those are so hard to get for the Princess meals.

We will be there dec 5-12 also at por people have said pop warner isnt a problem unless you are staying at the same resort. We should be safe with por

Oh nice! I wanted to do universal too but since DGD is still little not as much stuff to do (or at least the things I want to do). I want to return in a few years and have my oldest daughter come since she's a big fan of both.

Hoping to be there at that time.

Good luck to him with finding a new job. Hope it all works out. It's depressing puting off a trip but things usually come together sooner or later.

Sounds like fun. Glad you like her. I never got to meet mine. She passed when my DH was a teen.

I went in Dec 2009 and we stayed at POR and Pop was there. It wasn't too bad. Came across a few groups of cheerleaders in the lobby a few times.
