So we are officially a little over 1 hour into booking 11 months out for first week of Dec 2020.

From what I can tell so far looks alot better than booking for Dec 2019. I remember last year studios were booked up at a lot of places within an hour. Was lots of talk of how busy first week of Dec has become for DVC owners.

So far from what is showing the only places that are sold out for the entire week in STUDIOS are, CCV, VGF and Boardwalk. 1 beds and 2 beds and so on available at ALL resorts. (so far...........)

Well, remember everybody was expecting a lot of new stuff to be opening in December that got delayed...so while Galaxy's Edge is fully open, Space 220 restaurant and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway were delayed. People are probably waiting now for mid-2021 for the 50th anniversary to be sure most everything is up and running. I know I'm waiting to book a fairly large group in 2021, not just because it is WDW's 50th, it is also the 50th birthday of a friend AND his 15th wedding anniversary...so everyone...the kids and both sets of in-laws are planning to go to celebrate. ABout 12 of us in all. So I'm banking/borrowing points for that trip to get 2-2 bedroom units plus a studio or one bedroom.

Agree. I also think the 50th is going to be crazy. Sept-Dec 2021 I bet going to sell out VERY fast.

I was there the 1st week in December this year and it was crazy crowded in the parks, mainly because MK was closed for so many evenings. Studios sell out because they are cheaper. Since I go 3x/yr, and stay in 1BRs, I never have had a problem booking at 11 mos. Chuck may be correct that people are delaying their visits until some of the new attractions open. Also, as to the 50th, I think Disney should give special perks (FP+ for all new rides would be nice) to people who were there the first year and the 50th, like me.

BWV is not sold out for studios. Only the SV & BW categories are gone. Pool/Garden is still available.

Yes my bad.

Looks like Tower rooms are gone at Riviera.

Obviously ALL categories of the "value accommodations" are gone at Jambo.

I was there that week and didn't think it was bad at all. We did MK on Monday, it closed at 4:00 so it wasn't crowded. We went to DHS in the evening. DHS on Wednesday night was empty, we got almost instant fastpasses for Alien Saucers and Tower of Terror. Slinky was about 20 min standby at close (actual, not posted). We knew to avoid MK on Wednesday, the only night open late.

I forgot to book on Sunday - when I went in to book on Monday morning for CCV, had to be put on the waitlist :-/ what a bummer. Now I have to wait until April to see if anything is going to be available elsewhere.

Because of the low points first week of Dec and the decorations CCV is always one of the first ones to sell out.

I own at CCV and at the 11 month mark for first week of December I literally have the world clock website open in one browser and DVC website in another and when it hits exactly 8am I am booking right away.

Looks like as of today Jan 4, CCV is sold out of everything first week of Dec. Cabins are still left.
