My Family and I are planning a 7 day trip to WDW in
January and was wondering if the water park pass would
be worth the extra cost.

Granted its been a while since my last trip (2003)...

We always purchase the pass to the water parks on entrance. The waterparks option for your regular ticket included many thing we wouldnt use. Also, you never know how the weather will be- why pay for something you may not use??

In my opinion, typhoon lagoon is a MUST visit. For our trip in March I will purchase our tickets at the gate.

No, because the only way it's really cost effective or worth it to get the Water Parks and More option added on is if you are doing both water parks during your trip. With it being January, and usually too cold for the water parks and the fact that one of them is usually down for maintenance in January, it's really not worth it. If it happens to be milding warm while you are there, then you will probably be better off just paying at the gate.

:welcome: You've got some good advice already. Depending where you're staying and kids ages, etc. your resort pool may be enough for you.

Welcome....last January we wore winter jackets, hats and gloves.....that should help you decide!!!
