1st WDW finally booked!

Finally booked our 1st WDW trip today! 2 weeks next September in CBR! Saying I am excited is an understatement!

Have pre-ordered the 2014 Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World - have read some great reviews on here about this guide so looking forward to getting that!

AND....I now have my ticker well and truly underway!!!

Yeah good for you, how exciting

I do recommend you read the whole book at least once. It's big, but first time reading it's worth doing it cover to cover.

Use the touring plans. Trust me! We only visit school holidays (summer, Easter, Christmas) and have never stood in a line longer than 20 minutes and those have been rare times. That's entirely down to their touring plans and getting up early.

There is a very cheap linked web site called TouringPlans.com

It has many more great touring plans. Well worth the investment.

We went for our first trip last year and loved everything about it. I would second the recommendation for Touring Plans. The people on the Dis will be your best source of inforamtion - I don't know what I would have done without them.

Also downloaded the free WDW guide for first timers to the kindle yesterday (there was a thread yesterday with the link) and so far it has been a good read!
