1st trip to Disney, how long will it take?

Hi, we are going to WDW in Sept for our very 1st trip and it will also be our very 1st trip to Floridia. I was just wondering if there was anyone here from Mississippi that has made this trip driving and knows about how long it takes driving. We are in Florence, MS which is right outside of Jackson. Just trying to estimate traveling time, thanks!

Hey, we're from Hattiesburg, about two hours south of Jackson. It's usually an 8-9 hour drive for us. Hope this helps and have a great time!

MS Streets & Trips gives the mileage at 674.4 miles to the MK and the time at 11:37 minutes. This has you leaving at 8am and arriving at 7:37pm while gaining one hour crossing one time zone.

Hi, we are from Clinton. We drove when my son was younger. It would usually take us about 11 hours to drive. We never rushed tho. We always stopped anytime we needed a bathroom break or to eat.

Hey, I'm in Alabama, just south of Birmingham. We're driving and all of my directions say 8 hrs. And as far as the time zone thing goes, if you're like us you're in the central zone, and Florida is in the Eastern zone. So you'll be adding an hour to your trip when you're driving down, but you'll get it back on the way home. If you type in your resort address and your home address, you will get the miles and hours of your trip. Have fun planning and enjoy your trip! Hope this helps!
