1st trip July 19

Hello everyone!
Dh and I are planning are very first ever trip to Disneyland July 19-25. I can not wait!!! We are staying at the GC and I'm so excited. We have been to WDW 7 times but never DL and since it is the 50th, we thought, why not.

Any suggestions or tricks of the trade we should know about?

Any place we should not miss? Any place not on property we should not miss?

Expect to be blown away - the celebration alone is going to be well worth the trip.
