1st trip home cancelled..But for a good reason!

Well I asked all of the DVC'RS for their advice, ( Great advice) waited for my 7 month window, bought an add-on, and was on my way to DVC heaven...Heading down for my first trip at the end of August! Guess what! I'm pregnant and will be 8 months! I had my first daughter 21 days early so no way I'm going. I have my points banked from my add-on and I don't know how I can use them before 2006 is over. I am a teacher so I can't go until the end of June. Don't want to fight the June or July crowds... So much for DVC I guess thats the reason I have 30 years to use it!

You may want to go in June to have a relaxing resort (mostly) stay. That's also what DVC is about!

Congrats! Maybe you could lokk into renting those points if you won't be able to use them. I was 8 months pregnant for my very 1st WDW trip-it was great;but tiring! And it was in Oct;I don't think I would have been able to handle the summer heat or the crowds! Good luck! Angel

I know the timing wasn't the best for you to take advantage of your DVC, BUT now you'll be able to look forward to taking your new little bundle of joy to WDW with you when you reschedule. It's never too early to get the little one hooked on Disney!
