1st trip Home, 1st time DME, what to expect?

We are arriving at 930am on a Tuesday, checking into SSR. We usually drive or rent a car, so DME is new to us. I know they will get our bags from the airport and deliver them to the room, but what time should I expect them? Do I leave a gratuity somewhere for their delivery? When we've stayed at AKL and transferred bags, I was able to find out who delivered them and leave a tip. I was planning to pack a "day bag" with swimsuits and such for DDs, but if they don't want to swim, is there somewhere I can leave it if our room isn't ready and we want to hit DTD instead? Also, we've never been entirely dependent on Disney transportation. Anything I should know from SSR?

pack their stuff in a backpack - then you can take it with you or leave it with bell services.

but at that time in the morning you should be able to get a room.

you ordered your groceries already - right? or you using DDP?

now SSR does have groceries but I hate to paid their prices.

We're doing both DDP and some in-room. I have 2 DDs there (one CM, one on the College program) so planned to have them pick me up some groceries, but with their schedules, can't count on them for transportation.

Do I tip anything for the DME luggage service at SSR?

Our luggage arrived 3 hs later at POR. We had arived late at night so we were in our room when they arrived. We tip $1 bag sometimes more depending on the CM.
