Hi everyone!

I'm new to this board. We've always gone to Disney World but this trip we are thinking about a Disney Cruise. I've heard so many great things but I just had a few questions:

1. We are thinking about going on the March 25, 2006 Western Cruise. This is Spring Break for my DD and I'm sure it's Spring Break for many schools. I know this would be a miserable time to go to parks but how is a cruise at this time...(i.e. crowds, weather)?

2. My DD's will be 3 and 8. Do you think they would enjoy the cruise as much as they enjoy the parks? I'm sure that was a silly question!

3. My Mom has been on many cruise ships. Do you think she would enjoy the Disney Cruise just as much?

4. We actually have connecting rooms 2122 and 2124 CAT 9 Deck 2 on hold. I've been lurking around for a little while and discovered Dave's site. I see this is considered a noisy area. I hate to spend this kind of money and be miserable with tons of noise. I'm not sensative to noise, but I also don't want it to be so noisy I can't hear myself to think. For all you experts...what's your opinion on these rooms.

I'm sure I'll have more questions but for not TIA!

Can't tell you about the rooms, we are have never cruised before. I just wanted to say we will be on this cruise. Our spring break, but an excuse to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. I have two boys, who will be 11 and 7.

Our friend and TA took her kids when they were about your kids age. They talk about it all the time and want to go again. She also said it was much more relaxed then going to the parks, yet they got to see the characters and do lots of things.

Because of her opinions and photos my husband agreed to do this "cruise thing". I am sure he will enjoy it. The waiting is going to be hard.

myboysmom - thanks for the reply! I agree...the wait is going to be hard. But at least you have your's booked already. I can't seem to make a decision and haven't booked the cruise yet. Wish I could make up my mind!!!

Book It!! You can always cancel up to 60 days beforehand without penality!!

The cruise is great. If your 3yo is potty trained, will be able to go to the club and have a great time there. Your 8yo is almost guaranteed a great time in the lab!!

Your mom should love it. Its a great ship with great activities. She will like the rotational dining and the adults only sections also. (unless she likes a casino. None on Disney, but there is Bingo)

We were in 2608 for our last cruise and LOVED it (opposite side of the ship from your cabin) matter of fact we rebooked the same cabin for our July 2006 cruise.
