1st timer & feeling unprepared

I do know about the run on Castaway Cay.... I'm doing it! I have run other Disney events and am excited for this fun run!
I'm not used to humidity, so I will take it slow and have fun!

I agree with some posts, but on such a short cruis, I would rather do some research before than waste precious time finding out the basics. Also there are some things I learned here for first timers that I consider invaulabe, like the port parking fee, bringing your own alcohol and tipping. Plus some fun things, like dressing up on pirate night and decorating the door.

Agree " some" pre planning is worth it, MDR rotations, menus and Palo /Remy and Port Adventures. Those help a cruise and if you are paying a lot for a cruise it's with " getting your monies worth"

Some stuff, the sodas available, if chicken tenders are served, packing cubes are all a bit of OCD in my opinion maybe not to others.

Planning helps but do not overdo it. I am glad I plan my cruises, plan I say through my own research.

Funny you mentioned soda~ I'm a firm
Pepsi lover and assumed they serve Coke....so I was planning on having a few stow away in my carry one.
