I am so confused. Where can I go to look at all these restaurants and whether they are character or more adult. I have a 2 and 6 year old. Also does my dining plan go with my park tickets or my nights at a Disney resort. We will be there six nights but the first is a night arrival. I am going crazy. I need help and suggestions. PLEASE

THe DDP goes on how many nights are on your ressie. If you have your room for 6 nights, that's how many credits per person you have. As far as seeing if the meals are character or more adult, I don't have the link but you could go to the WDW website and find the dining plan brochure. It will tell you if its a character meal or not. But even if it's not a character meal, ALL of Disney restaurants (except Victoria and Alberts) are very kid friendly, even their Signature restaurants. We are travelling with our boys (also ages 2 and 6) and are eating at California Grill, OHana, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Biergarten, and Tusker House character Breakfast.

Best of luck making your dining choices!!

You have food credits for each night that you are there, not the number of days on your park ticket. If you want to check out the menus, go to allearsnet.com, they have them all there.

My suggestion to everyone I talk to about the DDP is to use the credits for lunches and dinners because breakfast is usually the cheaper meal of the day and sometimes you can use snack credits for breakfast items. This is unless you are doing a character breakfast, of course, then you should use your DDP table service (TS) credit.

I highly recommend the character dining, especially with small children, it eliminates you having to stand in line for those characters at the parks and therefore saves you time and aggrivation, plus the interaction is great for the most part!

You can use the credits during your stay in whatever manner you want. For example if you want to do 2 sit down (TS) meals in 1 day you can, and you can use all your snacks the first day, the last day, etc.

I make a calendar of what meal we have planned each day and how many credits it is, so that I know and I figure we could always change it when we get there, if we want. We made the mistake the first time we did DDP of doing 2 TS in 1 day, I think for lunch and dinner and I don't think I ate for 2 days after because it was too much food. If you want to do 2 TS, I would do breakfast and dinner.

Hope that answers your questions, if not, just ask!
