Okay, Our family of 4 will be going on the 3 day cruise for the first time in May so I will have lots of questions over the next few months so please bear with me, some may by very stupid!

First off, I think I understand that we will be assigned a seating time for dinner? My reservation has early seating. What time does that mean for dinner?

If we have early seating for dinner, does that mean we have to eat breakfast early? What if we want to sleep in?

Okay, that brings up another question, lets say we sleep in and want to order room service? Is there room service? Is there an additional charge for room service or is it included?

On the subject of cost, what is included as far as bevereges and food? Is there an additional charges for afternoon snacks and a pop?

Thanks in advance, sorry for the questions, I know I will have a ton more over the next few months.

hello!!!
We are going on our first EVER cruise in September.
I have been pouring over the websites and if you go to www.castawayclub.com the whold website is devoted to the Disney Cruise line. Also try www.wdwig.com they have a Cruise Line section under Beyond the parks. There is a very helpful information section in that as well.
Plus there are pictures and links to other websites.

Room service is included.
and you can eat breakfast anytime you want... (well, within reason!!) There is no assigned seating time.:D

Certainly take advantage of this board. Just about any question you can imagine has been asked (and answered!) on this board.
As for your specific questions.
First seating is 6 pm.
There is no specific seating for breakfast (except for disembarkation day). You can go when you want. There is a buffet at topsiders. Room service is an option, but unless you are in conceirge level rooms, no hot breakfast foods, continental only.
there is no additional charge for room service, but a tip is expected (a couple of bucks depending on the amount of food)

As for drinks, water and lemonade are always available free.
soda and other juices are free during meals at the restaurants (not with room service). there is always a charge for alcohol, and for soda and juice outside of the restaurants.
All food is included, even things like ice cream, and hamburger and fries etc, available on deck throughout the day.
The only food that is extra are packaged snacks like popcorn and chips. I understand they now sell these outside the theaters before performances.

O.K. I'll try to answer everything.

1. Early Seating is at 6:00

2. The only day you are assigned a time for breakfast on the 3 day, is the day of disembarkation. For the early seatings, you'll eat at 6:45 that morning. If you choose not to get up that early that morning, you can go to Beach Blanket for a continental style breakfast. All other mornings, there is open seating at Beach Blanket and Tritons.

3. Room service is included, but it is only offers continental options, no eggs and such. A tip is customary though.

4. All soda/pop and non-alcoholic drinks served in any of the sit-down restaurants (Tritons, Parrot Cay and Animators) are free of charge. All snacks obtained up on deck 9 are also free. Any snacks obtained on d eck 4 outside the Walt Disney Theatre are an extra cost. There is a drink station located on deck 9, which any beverage obtained there is free of charge. There is milk, iced tea, coffee, water and lemonade there. If you want pop during the day you'll pay for that. If you're at Beach Blanket Buffet, during breakfast OJ, milk, coffee and tea are included. At lunch usually it's fruit punch and iced tea, soda then would be additional.

I hope that helped!!

Thanks DOCTORRICK!!! I hope you have a GREAT curise!!! I can't wait for our first Magic trip in November!!
