hi smile4stamps
quick note. if you fly you'll have to put your almond milk in check baggage or buy it there. tsa won't let you carry on. quality inn has free continental breakfast. there is a small store across from the disney entrance (its part of a motel) that sells water, milk and usual items much cheaper than the park. there is a food for less store very close by. hope this helps.
bye uncle duck

theres suppose to be a walk way from Q inn to the Disney entrance. on the net they call it the budda path. some thing like that. come april i'll know for sure. we were able to get a good price using AAA membership for Q inn and AAA discounts on park tickets

I will definitely be packing my almond milk in a checked bag. I have plenty here so no sense trying to buy more when I set there.

do you know if the small store carries bread? Thats the only thing I am trying to figure out how to get. Unless I just use some from the Quality Inn's breakfast to make sandwiches but not sure if they have bread for toast?

Yes, they do, at least most do. If you are going to have access to a car there is a Target near where you will be. Also there are grocery stores that will deliver and you can order online before you go. Safeway and Von's as far as I know.

No car.

I won't need anything but a loaf of bread to buy. I've thought of taking one from here but am afraid it would smoosh too much.

Way too much. I have bought bread at convenience stores before. If there is a little store in your hotel they may very well have bread in it.

With the money your trying to save, I'm suprised your not driving down and then fly to WI from Disneyland. I live in Tracy, it takes about six hours to drive and $60 roundtrip for gas (I drive a 2004 Grand AM) I know the drive is less than pretty. I figured we'ld only save a couple hours by flying after driving to the airport, going through security, and then transportation to the hotel.

Any-who, have a great trip, I'll have to live vicariously through you because your going when I want to go (my birthday). I had to settle for November.;)

I definitely considered driving to save money. Any future trips I will probably drive however since I am going to WI after either my friend had to drive back by herself or my car would have to stay at LAX for 10 days. My friend did not want to drive back alone and i imagine parking at LAX would cost me a whole lot more than I would save by driving.

I forgot about car lodge-ing:confused3,my bad. Oh well, can't wait to see how your trip turns outpopcorn::

So I think I am going to start packing this week. So far I've thought of all the STUFF I need to bring but not the clothes!

I am NOT a typical girl. I think the last clothes I bought were for my WDW trip in May 09. I have some OLD clothes. I'm thinking a trip to ROSS may be in order but I tend to buy clothes there that are cute but then don't fit right. I HATE buying clothes. In fact my hubby buys more clothes for me than I buy for me!

I guess I will begin packing and see what I need to get to fill in some wardrobe blanks. I am hoping to get some DL shirts but not too many as this is still a budget trip ;)

My clothes I take are the last of my concerns too.

So I have to change some of my plans.

The friend I am going with is trying to save money (even more than me!) and is therefore only going to purchase a 2-day Parkhopper plus the Halloween ticket.

This means we will spend all day in the park on Thursday, then Friday enter at 4:00pm with our Halloween ticket, spend all day in the park on Saturday.

Since Thursday and Saturday both have long park hours even if we take a break in the middle I think we will be able to fit a lot in.

Then whatever we missed that I want to do I can go back and do it on Sunday and Monday when I will still be there solo!

Important things!

Hotel booked and confirmed: CHECK
Transportation from LAX to Hotel booked: CHECK
Annual Pass purchased: CHECK!!
2-day PH purchased for friend: CHECK (she's going to pay me back)
Halloween Tickets purchased: CHECK!

What other important things am I missing??!?

It looks good. What about ART passes? Or any priority seating for meals?
