Hi Everybody,
We are going to Orlando for the first time and plan to see Disney, Universal and KSC.
We would be thankful if you could advise us how should we divide our six days between three of these places. We have two kids aging 13 and 8. So we will like to see the attractions they will enjoy the most. So can you also advise the age appropriate attractions too.
Thanks for your advise.

I've not been to Universal in Florida but I have been to Universal in LA and wouldn't rush back, so I'd probably do the following ...
1 day KSC - but only if your 8 year old is really into space exploration and enjoys museums as its standing and looking or watching - not very interactive
2 days MK
1 day Epcot
1 day MGM
1 day Animal Kingdom (or a half day and go back to Epcot)

If I had to cut it down to just 3 places - MK, EPCOT (can be a little dull for children) and Animal Kingdom (if they love Animals and like to explore).

Enjoy your trip!
Paula

Hello! :wave2: What time of year are you going? This is important in order to give good advice. I can say that Universal can be done in 2 to 3 days depending on time of year. In my opinion Universal is mostly ride related and not alot other than that. However older kids like my 10 yr old that love rides will really enjoy it. We haven't been at a busy time of the year, we went last in Feb. of this year.
Disney on the other hand, well my family and I have been quite a bit and it seems we just can't get enough. Our last trip was 8 days and we could have stayed longer.

Epcot is hardly dull. You have Test Track, Soarin', Mission:Space, Spaceship Earth, Living Seas, Ellen's Energy Adventure, ...

KSC is definitely no more than one day. You could do each of the Universal Parks in one day each, also, but you definitely won't get to do everything. This leaves only 3 days for Disney, which is not enough. There are 4 parks, and while you could do them in 3 days, you would miss soooo much. If you have to do it all, you could divide your days and do Animal Kingdom in a morning, and head to MGM when you get done there, then do EPCOT and Magic Kingdom each in a day.

I would say you have taken on quite a task. This is an ambitious schedule you have given yourself. Maybe you should check out the websites for each of these attractions, and take a vote between family members as to what each of you really want to see.

Good luck with your trip, and remember.... it's a vacation. Don't stress yourself out by trying to see it all in one trip.

Wow, this seems like a lot for 6 days...
If you can't add more days, then I would recommend reading about the parks and seeing which attractions your kids would enjoy the most. If your kids aren't into thrill rides, you could probably skip Islands of Advernture at Universal and just do the Universal Studios park. If your kids love animals make sure to go to Animal Kingdom, if they could take them or leave them this might be another park to cut (although it cuold possibly be seen in half a day if you don't do everything from what I have read). I would say if nothing else make sure that you take them to MK, this for me would be the heart of WDW.

AK is way more than animals, so I would put more thought into than just whether or not you like animals.

I agree w/the op that you are taking on a lot for 6 days. We went for 6 days and never left Disney property. You won't be able to do all that you want in 6 days, so I would research each park and decide which ones seem to be the best fit for your family.
