1st time visitor questions!

Travelling to Orlando 8/23-8/31; only 1 day at Univ. Which restaurant? IOA or US for 1 squeamish 9 yr old, 1 sr. and two adults? Is 'slime time' still filming over the summer? Any recommendations appreciated! Thanks

Yes, Slime time is over until September, I think, maybe someone else knows when they start but I know they are not filming during August at all.

My kids absolutely love Margaritaville. If you go after 5pm there are people walking around on stilts making balloon hats for the kids. My boys love the cheeseburgers in paradise and my daughter's favorite thing to order is the chicken tenders. The website for it is www.margaritavilleorlando.com

USF since the kid is squemish as you put it.
He'll enjoy MIB, and if he has the courage, can go on the Mummy if he makes the height requirement. Then he'll see Hulk in the distance at IOA and you can tell him you'll come back another time if he gets good grades. Kids like to be scaredy cats for the attention it brings. Eventually, they get the courage up when seeing kids their age or younger on the ride. If the kid doesn't want to go on the ride, just say ok, and move on. They'll think about it during the day and want to come back later.
Don't go on BTTF, it will make you sick.

We had a great time at both, but probably more for everyone to do at USF. We stayed at PBH, and ate one meal at NBA city on the City Walk, which was a huge hit with my 8.5 yo.
