1st time user of AP Room Only discount..question

It will be my first time using my AP discount for a room only in Dec. We're 24 days till check-in today and haven't received any documents from WDW except for the email saying that we've booked and the one that says we've paid.

We added the QS DDP so it made it a "package" I guess so I'm not really sure what to expect?

We're only using it for one night and then checking into another resort for Free Dining (my family do not have APs) and we haven't gotten any snail mail from that either.

Will we be getting a MYW type package with the AP discount room?? I guess we will keep looking and hope for it this week!!!!
 
If you have a Disney dining plan, you have a WDTC package. So guessing you switched from a room only res to a package.
You might want to call to see about the documents. However, you have enough time I would not worry about it yet.
I believe you should receive ME vouchers, if you are using ME. And you should also receive a booklet with the Magical Extras from WDTC.
The meal entitlements (and whatever tickets you booked) will be on your card when you check in.
(If you booked a free dining package, you had to have bought tickets too.)
I would definitely call Disney though if you have not received an e-mail or snail mail confirmation. Or assuming you have the res number and can look on-line? :confused3
 
We're traveling around the same time as you (Arriving 12/9) and have received all of our ME vouchers as well as our WDTC itinerary & luggage tags.

We got the DME info weeks ago.

My AP room at POP is the discount room + the QS DDP for one night (Dec 9th)

Our Free Dining at WL starts on Dec 10th
..as of today, we haven't gotten anything from either reservations. I have gotten the email that we booked and the other one that says we've paid in full but that's it. I've also put the confirm #s in online at wdw.com and the reservations pull up fine.

We booked under the "45 day period" so we had to pay in full when we booked so I don't know if that's what is slowing it down or not. I figured I'd wait till Thurs and if nothing arrives by then, I'll call and see what's going on. We have a day of nothing planned so it would be nice to use some of the vouchers!!
